Modern game server control plane

Game Server Panel

GSP builds on the proven Open Game Panel architecture with current panel work, modernized agents, dedicated Workshop paths, and practical hosting workflows for multi-server operations.

Built for real hosting operations

GSP keeps the familiar panel and agent split while moving current work toward clearer lifecycle handling, validated configuration, and dedicated modules for modern game-server needs.

01

Multiple dedicated servers

Connect the panel to one or more remote agents, then manage game-server homes assigned to those hosts from the control plane.

02

Commercial site modules

GSP includes billing, website, register, support, and ticket modules. Payment-provider and automation details remain a documented source-review TODO.

03

Workshop-ready direction

A dedicated Steam Workshop module and schema-level Workshop support give GSP a current path for Workshop-enabled templates.

Migration path

Forked from OGP, maintained as GSP

GSP acknowledges its Open Game Panel roots and preserves useful concepts such as modules, remote agents, XML game templates, and lifecycle commands. Current GSP behavior takes precedence where the code and wiki document a difference.

What the local docs confirm

  • Panel-plus-agent architecture remains central.
  • New installations default to the `gsp_` database prefix.
  • Steam Workshop is handled by a dedicated module.
  • XML validation tooling is part of current GSP maintenance.
